Paul is the current holder of the highest individual score, and the only Chesterford batsman to score 200 runs in an innings. Paul is a long serving member of the club, and has picked up both bowling and batting awards for the club several times. Previously, Paul has played 1st XI cricket for the Perse school, represented Newcastle University Cricket Club, and also played for the Wanderers in London.

A middle order batsman who can open, Paul is a tall elegant stroke player, who can just as easily shut up shop and defend as he can crash the ball to the boundary. Has the ability to turn a game on its head and turn potential defeats into victories.

Paul is also an opening strike bowler, who uses the guises of pace and swing to blast away at the opposition batsmen in the early overs of a match. He can effectively vary the length of his bowling so as to york, or bounce batsmen at will. As a fielder, Paul has a good arm and is often place on the boundary where his pace and throwing ability save the club many runs.
