Steve has been playing for the cricket
club since the early 90's. A versatile
utility player, Steve can take on any aspect
of the game that he puts his mind to. As a
batsman he is exceptionally quick between
the wickets, putting on many frustrating
midorder stands when the club has been in
trouble.
Steve's off spin has come on as the years
have gone by and he now provides a great
option for the captain to turn to.
However it is for his fielding that Steve
is most well known. Whether fielding in the
covers or standing behind the stumps Steve
speed, reactions and atheltism ensure that
runs are kept to a minimum. He has won the
fielder of the year award several times.
